
Rupert can be heard with the BBC Radio 2 iPlayer on 'Friday Night is Music Night'. Performing scenes from 'Hamlet' and 'Romeo & Juliet, as part of the 50th anniversary celebrations of The Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC).
In June 2011, Rupert also performed World War Poetry at the Donmar Warehouse Theatre, as part of 'Poetry Week With Josephine Hart'.
He has also filmed two short films in 2011, funded by the UK Film council.

He has recently worked with, amongst others, film directors Guillermo Del Toro (Hellboy) and Alejandro Amenandbar (Agora). Rupert will be spending 2011 filming 'World Without End' in the role of 'Godwyn'. This eight-hour series for America and Europe, in association with Ridley Scott's 'Scot Free films', is taken from Ken Follett's novel of the same name. The cast includes: Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City), Miranda Richardson and Charlotte Riley, amongst others.

In April 2011, Rupert finished shooting the new Brit Indie film 'Elfie Hopkins' starring along side both Jaime and Ray Winstone. Written and directed by Ryan Andrews; the story centres on an aspiring teen detective who stumbles upon her first real case, when investigating the mysterious new family in her neighborhood. Rupert plays Mr Gammon, the head of that curious family unit. Get ready for blood and a helping of horror!

The beginning of 2011 found Rupert in Belgium filming 'Asylum'. Taking the lead role of 'George'; this thriller focuses on a group of cooks at an asylum for the criminally insane who get locked in with the inmates during a massive thunderstorm. This independent movie, directed by Alexandre Courtes, will have a cinema release in both the US and Europe.
